    Usb Headset Glitchy

I recently upgraded from Windows 7 build 6978 to 7100 and now my Logitech A-0374a usb headset does not work completely. The biggest problem I have is that if it is not a windows sound it is very distorted. For instance when I got to pandora on firefox I can hear the music fine but if any lyrics are played then it is lost in the lyrics. Also it crackles the entire time. Also if someone talks in ventrilo and I don't have them turned up by 800% then can't even tell they said anything and even at 800% it is like a whisper.

On another note my realtek audio works perfectly fine. ( 5.1 surround sound)

Have you installed the drivers for them?

    Ok h i
now i assume that since realtek works fine you have a driver for it. Ventrilo is somewhat a problem there is a thread here to help you get the correct driver, pandora lyrics (?). If realtek is working and windows sounds are ok I would suspect it is a combination of drivers. try them and let us know how it turns out

i have no drivers for the device as it is suppose to be plug and play and as for the the pandora.com lyrics, its when the singers start to sing.

I had this same problem in the last build but when I turned on all the enhancements ( room correction, low level protection...) it became listenable and almost perfect. However in build 7100 without the enhancement nothing is playable and with them its still tough.

And I tried to find drivers in last build to have a permanent fix but since its plug and play there seems to be no drivers.

I looked up on the Logitech forums and found issues very close to your own, primary difference was that those users, were not using Windows 7, but Vista.

Seems like its the headset and not the OS. =(

I do not belive that it is the headset as it works perfectly on xp and vista for me and like I said on the beta build with a little work. however if there is no fix i guess i will just ahve to wait
