i think this information should help.
i am using Windows 7 build 7264. i never installed sound max driver that came with the mother board cd because it wont work. Instead i ran windows update and it would download the sound driver from microsoft that works perfectly. So uninstall any sound driver that you have installed and run windows update it will download and install the sound driver for you.
Hope this will work.
maybe i need upgrade build to 7264? and then update?
ok, i`ll try.

When i uninstall audio driver, do windows restart and win update.
dont know what to do:
updater install:
SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio Driver v 5.12.01.4070
but it dont work.
how can i upgrade? should i format old and install new, or i can just download the upgrade file and put on old?
it is recommended to perform a clean installation...
If you need the download link pm me. i will send it.
