Windows 7: Realtek installed but NOTHING happening!

Hi, i installed realtek hd, the latest one for windows 7 64 bit, but my audio driver still says it uses the Conexant High Definition Audio driver, whenever I try to update the driver and locate the new driver from the Realtek folder that was installed NOTHING happens, all it does is say that the latest driver update has already been installed.

Very frustrating, hope to get help ASAP!

That machine probably only supports the Conexant drivers. Many machines will not allow you to simply install other drivers.

My pleasure. Sorry it was not what you were hoping for. Sometimes, various user groups, and others, find ways to install other drivers on such machines.

However, if you are not having any problems, you are better advised to use the drivers provided by the manufacturer.
