No sound after hibernate/sleep

    No sound after hibernate/sleep


    Every time I leave the computer and it goes into "stasis", when I return I can neither use Skype or Voipcheap. The only way I get it to work is by doing a re-start. I've googled this problem and it appears that many users have the same problem no matter what sound card/headphones/microphone they use. Any ideas?
    (Apart from going back to XP where this NEVER happened).

    Sorted. There is a conflict with Speedbit video accelerator plus. I removed it and everything is hunky dory.
