    Low sound after SP1

I have 3 computers that have sound issues after SP1 for win7 was installed. The sound is stuck at -80% and the settings in the communications tab do not affect anything. Loudness EQ in the Enhancements does very little to help. Setting all the volumes sliders to max and the equalizer to max is what I have now. SRS sandbox helps a little but the sound is way too low at any speaker setting.

I have tried all the drivers for the realtek onboard sound chip for win7, only result was one of the computers lost all sound. The AMD 5850 video cards sound over the HDMI works fine with full volume on all computers.

I installed linux on a HDD and that almost blew out my ears! The sound was the way it used to be on Win 7.

I need a reg patch to increase all sound volume 200% in Windows 7.

    All three computers are:

    Windows 7 64 Home
    Intel DG55KG mainboard with i7 860 cpu
XFX 5850 videocard with Acer S243HL LCD
    Seagate 1.5 TB Hdd
    8 gigs Sector 5 ram
    750 watt power

Assuming you have the latest driver installed from here......

On the communciations tab, have you tried "Do Nothing".
    It may increase the volume.

Low sound volume fix works 100%

I found the fix for low sound volume in win 7 64, uninstall it, install free linux...

Can anyone increase the volume ovrall in windows 7 64?

I have tried ALL the drivers that will work for realtek on Intel DP55KG. (I used driver cleaner inbetween)

It was something in the updates that made the sound drop at the beginning of the year, all of last year I could damage my ears with my sound turned up to 3 on the knob, not now.

I see the settings in the levels tab goes DOWN to -62 db and ONLY up to +2db, I need to be able to reverse that.

All 3 computers have this issue, they are in different locations and one has AMD cpu, same realtek crap sound chip.

Now if they were fine for a year, then this year at around March they start to drop sound volume, what caused it?

Can anyone make me the reg code, so i can just merge it, and have the -62 to +2db reversed? I get total mute at -18 db, so why go all the way down to -62? Hell just add a 0 and have it go to +20db. Is it possible?
