Windows 7: need help like mad going crazy

k so i have a samsung tv hooked the hdmi everyworks no sound i tryed uninstalling and reinstalling still says ati hdmi output not plugged in went to google did pretty much everything possible can anybody help ?

Do you have the HDMI sound driver installed? This is an extra driver for many interfaces.

Unless you fill out your system specs, it is difficult/impossible for members to give you specific advice.

its always says not plugged in im just trying to get sound out of my lcd samsung it says its enabled and working

it just cant detect it for some reason ive been trying everything everyones been saying

ati mobility radeon hd 5650 1 gb vram intel core i3 370m 750gb hdd

Have you tried another cable? It is not unusual for a cable to be defective, and this of course results in an error which says it is not plugged in.

Also, have you enabled the HDMI input setting on the TV?

yeah the hdmi3 comes up but what does that have to do for the sound i get the picture just no sound
