No sound

    No sound


    Hi guys
    Having big probs with no sound in Windows 7 my motherboard is the XFX MB-7501-72p9 onboard sound
    I have insalled the drivers ok and there are no conflicts but still I am getting no sound on the system When using XP everything is ok! any help appreciated

    edit: have you checked for optional updates with Windows Update?

    Which drivers did you use? Win 7 or XP Drivers. Did you use the drivers that came with the Motherboard?

    Yes done updates dowloaded drivers from support site for Win 7

    From what I can make out, your board uses the Realtek ALC888S CODEC for audio functionality.
