speakers plugged into soundcard and onboard

Hi all
i have my surround system plugged into my sound card. but i also have decent onboard sound. my chair is an x-rocker hurricane gaming chair with 2.1 surround in. can i have my chair plugged into the onboard and my surround in soundcard so i can hear through both. playing the same audio.

its not a must that i do this. it would just b nice as i have to hav this kind of chair n its a shame not to use the speakers in it anymore

any help is much apreciated

Windows and most if not all programs only allow for audio playback through one device at a time. What you could do is use something like this,

Newegg.ca - Rosewill - 3.5mm Stereo Splitter cable (6 INCHES)

to split the output from the sound card to both the chair and speakers.

cheers 4 the reply. i had looked into getting a splitter but as my surround system is 5.1 with 4 connector then that wouldnt work. plus it would lower the quality of the sound a fair bit as my chair is 2.1 n surround is 5.1 its gonna get a bit confused enit. lol
cheers for ur help tho.
