sound from mic doesnt come out

having problem with my sound card Creative Blaster X-Fi Titanium.

The problem is that the mic doesnt produce any sound at all. Even the windows doesnt detect Mic Jack at the sound card. When i jack the mic into my motherboard mic jack, it works. Even tried to solve by uninstall my driver.

The next move i will try to connect Front Jack with the sound card to see whether it works or not.

The Headphones im using is Razer Carcharias.

You have gone into the Creative control panel and enabled headphones I take it? Headphone jack needs to be in one of the last 2 jacks on the card i.e the 2 closest to your case side not motherboard side.

Are you using a voice comm program like ventrilo??

I have a similar card/different mic, but it works fine...drivers are the latest and from memory I changed nothing in windows just the Creative console..can you try another mic?.

I have enable the headphones in control panel, but from what i see it doesnt detect mic jack from my headphone.

Im using skype for my conference.

for the drivers, i only install from the cd. I dont download any latest driver from creative. For your suggestion trying another mic, i will try

By the way, i connect front jack cable with the card, for the time being it works. If i change by jacking to the back panel, i wont detect the jack mic.

Another thing that worrying me when i install the driver, there are some box that saying the driver unable to install properly. i suspect that during this installation is the problem, but the driver can be used (the console).
