    AMD-8111 AC'97 Audio Controller Driver


    I just updated from Vista Ultimate 64 to Windows 7, Surprise it went very well except so far for sound. It did tell me that it would be a problem. So far WinTV 1600 is only program not working but I just started. Office 2007 took the upgrade. I was not able to get a performance rating, computer locked up I had to hard reset. All my files are intact, This is from Windows 7 to the Windows 7 forums pretty cool. Any help or ideas on the sound would be great. Thanks


    win tv works just no sound

    windows 7 accepted the vista driver for my sound, might want to attempt to load that as admin and under compatability mode. one of my test boxes had sound on install but crackling and spitting....left that one alone, couple of reboots later, it's fine without any hands on.

    think it worked


    downloaded and installed vista drivers installed and rebooted 2 times, not full function but there was a start up sound. I have been at this for to long need to get some sleep. Thanks for the help
