I just got done building a new computer using this MSI motherboard (Newegg.com - MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
) and the sound levels on this thing are simply garbage. So, from another post here on the SevenForums, someone mentioned that I should try an additional Sound Card, so I pulled out my Creative Sound Blaster into the PCI slot and my OUTBOUND audio was fixed, but my INBOUND audio is still complete garbage. My microphone levels in Sony Vegas and Audacity are a complete joke. So, I went with another option of trying out my buddies Creative Sound Blaster Live External Sound Card, and again, the INBOUND microphone levels are complete garbage. Now, you mean to tell me that all of these 3 ways on inputting audio are all terrible at this, or am I missing something??
If anyone has any suggestions on what to do, please let me know. Maybe one of these cards might be bad, but I highly doubt it at this point. I clearly don't think that the cards are bad, but really something in the system settings.
