    RealTek Audio issue

I'm a home worker for a company that requires I use their dialer and web interface. At first I had an issue with clients not hearing me. THAT issue was solved.
The problem that exists is this:

I need to use the front mic/headset jack on my desktop to use for work. But now I plug my desktop speakers into a rear jack and I get no audio. I also get no audio through my headset when I try to listen to an A/V presentation online. Never had this issue before.

My OS is win 7 pro 32 bit.
I use X-lite for the dialer and vicidialer for the online interface

The RealTek interface only allows me to set one outlet as default at a time. I.E.; front jacks OR rear jacks but not both. Any way around this?

It's designed that "normally" when you plug in a headset it mutes the rear speakers. You don't want that anyway as you will get feedback through the mic with the speakers on (one of the reason people use a headset/mic rather than a desktop mic and PC speakers).
