Windows 7: Turtle Beach HPA 2 review

Few of you might remember I created headphone recommendation thread few months ago.

I was quite leaned towards sennheiser pc 333d headphones as they are from very respected audio company, but then someone advised to consider turtle beach products as well. I looked into this more thoroughly and found turtle beach HPA 2 are real 5.1 headphones whereas Sennheiser so called 7.1 headphones contained only 2 speakers in reality and they create virtual surround sound which isn't noticeable. Whereas HPA 2 got 4 speakers in each cup as you can see in piture below



The remote is very handy, it got individiual settings for front, rear, side and sub. Once all set according to your taste, you can use master volume knob to control them as well.



My amp settings are Front: 4.5 Centre: 5 Surround: 8.2 Sub: 7.5;I can locate people in shooters without even seeing them.
