Driven to distraction by audio problems
I had an external USB sound card,- Creative's Audigy 2: everything worked. It played out through SPDIF, it accepted my DAB radio in via SPDIF, it accepted analogue in.. all was well.. until it died.
I have replaced it with a Terratec Aureon 7.1 card, and whilst the standard PC music works it won't accept DAB radio via SPDIF (maybe a security bit problem?) and it plays analogue line in with half a second of latency!
I have checked on drivers to no avail. I'm running Windows 7, 64bit, and coming to the end of my tether.. assistance would be most welcome.
