    Sound Card Diagnostics?


    Hi

    Would anybody know of any programs with which would let me do diagnostics on a sound card

    Yeah tried that thanks,all seems ok,its just I have no stereo mix or dps,using an Asus Xonar DS,have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled to no avail,cant think what may be wrong!!

    Have you enabled the Disconnected and Disabled devices in the Recording section of the Sound Panel? to see if the system mixer (may be called stereo mixer) is there?

    Reseat the card (with the PC powered off) and see if that helps.

    done that,got a new 2.1 speaker setup and all seems fines now!!
