| | Sudden Noise on Speakers Hi guys, (I live in a large house divided into 9 flags)My speakers (Logitech Z4) have, for about, 6 months or so, randomly had a large burst of sound, like an explosion crackling noise comes on for a second. It's really loud, often makes me jump if my speakers are turned up. I think I read somewhere it is relating to someone turning a switch (or something) on in another flat. Has anyone had this trouble or know anything how to solve it? I have no idea how to diagnose it or even google for a solution... Thanks  |

| | Um, could you explain more in details that what kind of sound do you hear? Is it high or low pitched, is it like a shot or a whistle? SG |

| | Yeah sorry, it's like you've touched a microphone jack against some metal for a second, its very short for a split second, low pitch. Like a gunshot. Bang! Hope that kind of helps.. really hard to explain I think its more of a external problem with the electrics, not the hardware. It's kind of like a surge of power or something comes through and creates a large noise. Thanks for the quick reply |
