Toshiba L455 Sound Knob Not Working - Windows Only
I'm Back Seven Forums. This time, I got an issue that I did not expect.
I have a Toshiba L455 with Realtek audio. This laptop is now one year old from when I bought it, and I now dual boot Ubuntu and 7. Together, they have coexisted without killing each other, so I do not even think Ubuntu has anything to do with this issue. So when I was in 7 last week, I was typing a word document in Open Office and noticed I could not turn the volume up and down with the knob on the front of the laptop without clicking on the explorer bar. Now, no matter where I am, my knob won't work at all. Although I am yet to go through my startup programs to see if Windows turned something off, I do not believe this would be the issue either. But, it could be, due to I was doing some system maintenance to Windows, which, on a side note has got 7 back up to speed. Nice.....
So my question is, what happened to my sound knob working? It works in Ubuntu, everyday, without any error what-so-ever. Poor me, I cannot adjust my Foo Fighters or Nickelback up or down without using a GUI.
LOL, Thanks for any help guys!
