I understand, that you want to use the tv a bit like a monitor. The problem might be that your computer speakers are still marked as the default sound output. This means that the tv is not the one that is chosen to the play the computer sounds. You should be able find the tv in control panel -> hardware & sound -> sound. Set your tv or hdmi whichever one shows up, as the default sound. This should work, if not please say so! hope it helps! | My System Specs | | OS Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1 CPU Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz Motherboard Dell Inc. 0FM586 Memory 6.00 GB Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 Sound Card (1) NVIDIA High Definition Audio (2) NVIDIA High Definitio Monitor(s) Displays LG Flatron W2361V Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 x 32 bits (4294967296 colors) @ 60 Hz Keyboard Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 v2.0 Mouse Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 Case Dell Inspirion 560 Hard Drives (1) WDC WD6400AAKS-75A7B0 ATA Device (2) SanDisk Cruzer USB Device (3) TEAC USB HS-CF Card USB Device (4) TEAC USB HS-MS Card USB Device (5) TEAC USB HS-SD Card USB Device (6) TEAC USB HS-xD/SM USB Device Internet Speed 1.61 Mbps download and .32 Mbps upload (Speedtest.net) |
