No sound when online in Firefox and IE9

I just installed Win7 Pro 64 on my Dell, after having increased mem to 4Gb. I do have sound for system events and when playing MP3 files from Windows Media Player, but when trying to watch YouTube vids or listen to Pandora in Firefox or IE9 I get no sound.

I tried reinstalling the latest Flash Player directly from Adobe site, but that didn't remedy the problem.

I checked sound properties in the Control Panel Sounds applet, but everything appears to be in order there. After all, I do have sound for system events such as startup, shutdown, beeps, etc. and when playing MP3s in WMP. Just not online.

I do a lot of support on the Dell users forum. Did you install the correct Dell RealTek audio driver? You need to use the Dell sound driver as we have found that in most cases a non-Dell driver will either not work or not work correctly. HERE is the Vista 32 (which works for Win 7) Dell downloads for the I530. There are two RealTek sound drivers listed depending on which version of the 530 you have (an early model or later model - designated as 530 or the later models 530a/b/c/d).
