Latest Realtek drivers worked fine for me 7.

Uninstall the drivers and download Driver Sweeper from Guru3D, install it and run it as admin and clean the Realtek drivers.

Try installing the new drivers again and see if they're better.

    Welcome to the Forums pilliboy12,

If your laptop came with Vista installed, and a driver's disk was included, then try using the vista drivers. If no driver's disk then go to the manufacturer's web site and down load the driver. Can't promise it will work, but just maybe.

    What Build are you using?

Some old "Leaked" builds have problems with HD Audio...

The installer checks for the Vista version, finds an unknown one and rightly tells you so.

Which Realtek chipset do you have?
