Realtek HD Audio Manager through headphones.
Apologies if this issue has been raised before...I looked, but couldn't find anything similar.
I have an Asus P8P67Delux motherboard with and IcyBox IB-863 Multi-port front panel. I have been using Realtek HD Audio Manager for some time under Vista and it has been working perfectly. About a week ago I upgraded to Windows 7, and now I'm getting some very weird effects when I (try to) listen through headphones.
When I plug in the headphones, the Audio Manger opens up and a pop-up asks me if I have just inserted headphones. So far...so good. But when I say Okay, I don't get another tab that says 'Headphones', like I used to get. Instead I stay on the 'Speakers' tab.
iTunes, movies etc will play through the headphones...but it sounds like I'm only listening to the left and right channel of the 5.1 Speakers...the rest not getting sent to the headphones. If I then change the Speaker Configuration to, say 'Stereo', I can hear all channels...but in Mono!
I've tried pushing every button under the sun...reloading codecs and the latest version of the Audio Manager, but with the same results.
Can someone help please?
