No "Windows Start" sound in Win7?

Hello technomage,

If you mean for the Windows startup sound, then there is not a "Windows Start" option to change it's sound in Sounds.

You could use Option One in the tutorial below to turn on/off "Play Windows Startup sound".

If you wanted to change the Windows startup sound, then you could use an option in the tutorial below.

Startup Sound - Change in Windows 7

There is not an option to select a .wav file for the Windows Startup sound. You can only turn it on/off by default as per Option One below.

You would need to manually change the Windows Startup sound instead as per the tutorial below that I previously posted.
