Sound going up and down when watching a movie!

    Check on the tightness of the speaker plug too, may be a bit wonky. Unplug the headset if using external speakers, if you're not already.

    This does sound more hardware related than software.

    I've fixed whatever the problem is for some reason, it's all fine now thanks for trying to help guys, can you lock this topic now, thanks, sonic x!

    i do believe your having the same problem as this person New computer, volume fluctuates in certain media files that being said, if the volume is fine when you are using headphones most likely it is your speakers, if they have a small sub woofer, its most certainly your speakers.

    I fixed this by first enabling all the enhancements as well as room correction and then enabling every audio equalization option in VLC (best media player around), setting the first EQ to "flat" setting and activating the rest of the settings at default values.
