| | sound quit coming from HP HD Monitor I was getting all sounds from my monitor (no speakers plugged into tower) now when I check the sounds in control panel it says no audio device installed. Anyone know a fix for this? Thanks!  |

| | If you are using HDMI connection to the monitor for both video and sound, the sound is in the HDMI signal. Check to make sure the HDMI is set as the defaul audio playback device. I have an HD4850 sound card, too. It generates the HDMI sound internally on the card. |
