    Sorry Anilkumar, I didnt go back to this old post! Try opening the Realtek HD audio manager and changing the jack detction settings. Please use rear panel not front panel audio headers.

    I got similar problems as Ralph e and AnilKumar. no matter what I do do it doesn't solve. I even uninstall audio devices from from the device manager but when I restart the computer they magically re-appear. my computer doesn't accept any other playback device except "Digital Audio (HDMI)". I even tried to download and install latest drivers from the motherboard sites, but still no use. I completely clueless here, I never face problem like this before.

    hi there. i have the same problem. but which one of the sound tab mark should i disable?

    same problem here. nothing works. i have uninstalled the "Audio Device on...whatever...Bus" and after restart same thing happened. the problem is back.
