    Microphone problem, windows 7

Hi, i reinstalled my PC an hour ago and since then i have been trying to fix my mic. I keep hearing anything that i say on the mic thru my own speakers. I'm desperate and ready to try anything.

One of my actual major problems is that my actual microphone isnt using the "Microphone" from the settings, rather its using "Stereo mix" which i find quite strange, and when Stereo Mix is enabled i can see that the green bars are moving. If i find a way to remove this Stereo Mix sh*t and get the mic to actually use the Microphone from the settings, i can probably get it fixed.

Most people want Stereo Mix. If you ever want to record streaming audio (or youtube audio) you must have the Stereo Mix (also called System Mixer). Normally, you do hear your mic over the speakers, and that is why many use a headset to help eliminate the feedback.

It is using the microphone, if it wasn't then your mic wouldn't work.

You failed to entery the "My System Specs" but are you using the correct sound driver? You should be using the PC or motherboard vendors Sound Driver and not a generic driver that Windows may install.

Hello, sorry for the slow answer, i was out of town for a while.
Actually i never tried to do that, and i have met this problem before and have fixed it, but the fact that its using Stereo Mix instead of my actual microphone icon is creeping me out.
