From WinXP to Win7. SoundMax Audio Driver Multistream.
hell windows 7 forums. im new here. first post. been looking around for this solution (if there is any) for a while but it only shows solutions for how to get your sound drivers to work on windows 7. im past that, now im just being picky
basically. this is my first windows 7. i have windows7 ultimate and what brings me here to the forums today is a quick question. ill explain as well so it wont be so quick so you understand what im looking for.
first off, i have speakers plugged in on the rear jack (green)
and i have a headset plugged in on the front jack.
in wondows XP i had something enabled called multi streaming from soundmax.
i DO have the option here on windows 7 to multi stream but i cant choose what application i canlisten to through headphone or speaker.
in detail, in windows XP. i can enable my speakers to play any application i want as long as its selected as default when i open an application. THEN i would default my headphones and choose application i want to listen to THROUGH my headphones thus leaving the speaker playing any application ON THE SPEAKER and seperate for what application i want to use for my headphone.
long story short, i default speaker first, open firefox, play pandora and let it play through my speakers, then i would default my headphones and play my game, leaving pandora to play on the speaker and leaving my game sounds in my headphones individually. basically i cant hear pandora on my headphones but its playing on my speakers.
my question is that, can i do that in windows 7? ive been looking everywhere and all i find is, multistream but whatever plays in your speaker you can hear through your headset which i dont want. i want individual applications on speaker and on headphones.
if anyone have a soultion. thanks so much in advance idk if kudos work here but guarenteed kudos
