    convert WAV file to TXT file


    Would like to convert some wav files to txt files.
    I know i would have to insert punctuation later.
    Is there a program to do this?

    There are services that will do this, but I know of no software that will do it with any degree of accuracy.
    You might be able to pull off playing it from one machine into the mic of another machine that supports speech to text but I wouldn't count on accurate results.

    hi meadbd, and welcome to sevenforums,

    a quick google search for 'wav to txt' will show some examples of software which claim to do this trick.

    they're pricey though, and who knows how accurate they'll be.
