Razer Mako - Realtek & 2.1 Speakers

Hi,

I've recently bought a set of Razer Mako 2.1 Speakers and plugged in in via 3.5mm to my PC. The satellites are working fine but i'm getting very poor sound out of my subwoofer. I've set bass on both realtek HD audio manager and on the Mako control pod to maximum and when i ran the bass test on the link below the bass was still not very strong. Any solutions?

Any help you guys can give me will be much appreciated!

Do you get generally good bass if you plug in a headset? Or have you used other speakers that had good bass?

I looked at the manual for this and the only thing I see is the bass adjustment on the speaker systems control pad. It says to set the Equalizer in the media players for Off or Flat, in the troubleshooting section.

If you still do not have enough bass, and it is properly cabled and the bass unit sitting on the floor, it would appear it has a hardware problem.

Hmmm, that's a good point.
I'll try plugging in my old logitechs and playing that sound file and seeing if the bass coming out of that is better than the Mako's....
