Windows Media Player can't find audio files now

Yesterday I went into WMP a went to play a song I've played dozens of times in the past and Windows said it can't find the audio file and the message that its missing or corrupt shows up. I went to the song directly in the music file and it plays that way. Also when I click on the Music folder it doesn't do anything and then I noticed there was a subfolder for the Music library that is named My Music and when I click on that it shows all my music.
Is there something that I did to do this. I download mostly torrent music files. Some of the music in WMP is still working properly but most isn't.
