Windows 7 - trying to get this sound to stick

| | trying to get this sound to stick hi all, trying to get this sound to stick on window 7 ultimate. The board is an ASUS K8v-vm onboard Realtek HD sound ??.. I've downloaded so many drivers its getting silly  All will install and work straight off.. Any number of soft restarts and no problems. But switch off for a few minutes and reboot and sound is gone..  Well Win 7 has installed its own and says it all the latest drivers etc etc .. but its all quiet .. Install again and it back.. until the the next power off. Any clues anyone !! or back to XP which works faultlessly . Chris |
