Windows Default Sounds My Windows does not play any default sounds when logging or when some errors occur. I don't know why, my speakers' aren't on mute, and they are working fine. It's just that windows does not play it's own sounds.
I can play music, but windows does not play it's own sounds. What will I do? :O

open regedit, navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents key.
Rt click it and select Export.
That way you get a .reg file.
Before you do that, rt click the little speaker icon in the notification area, select Sounds and see what sound scheme is selected. | My System Specs | | OS Vista x64 / 7 X64 CPU E8400 Motherboard ASRock 1333 GLAN R2.0 Memory 2x1 gb 800mhz Graphics Card 9500gt 1gb Case Coolermaster Cooling Winpower 500w Hard Drives Maxtor 160gb-2mb cache |
