    Shalom Yossi.
Right click the speaker icon in the lower right corner. Select Playback. In the window that pops up, check to see if Digital Output is enabled and selected as Default.

No you're wrong in what you understand
My receiver does not show me that he gets the information
I have indicator lights that show me when he's in stereo and when he goes into Dolby Digital 5.1
I said the software itself, I see 5.1 move parameters
But this is not the problem WR This essentially means that the computer does not send this information on Windows 7 for some reason

    Two more screens to check.

The first screen is the Properties of the Optical output. Be sure the settings match your receiver.

The second screen is the Enhancement tab of the Properties. Check the box for Virtual Surround.

I have a different sound card
My sound card is CMI8768 PCI connection
And is defined as ever it was set on optical port
Listen friends, I want to clarify something topical to enable you to help me in a more correct way
I understand computers very well and have lots of experience with them
And never had to get help or support I always get myself

The reason I tell you this
Is because I know the problem is not on the sound card and settings
Because for years I see movies that way and it works great
An interest is to dig about in connection with WINDOWS 7 is where the trouble
Instead of dealing with explaining to me about the sound card and encode all of these various
Try to understand there is a problem related to the fact that Windows 7 does not convey this information through my sound card
I hope that I will not bother you too much about that
I have no one to turn to except you
    Thank you:)

So your configuration screens don't show similar options as pictured above?
As with any new release of Windows, various hardware devices may need new drivers to function properly. Information on your sound card indicates the only Windows 7 driver available is for the Windows 7 RC7600 (Release Candidate). The driver is dated 2011-11-24 and is version 8.17.40 however; the same version is listed for other sound card models with a date of 2010-02-09.

I suspect your problem is related to the driver and not Windows 7. I think the best course of action would be to deal with C-Media directly. They are the only one that can supply drivers for your card.

Here's a link to the C-Media driver download page: C-Media

If you already have driver version 8.17.40 (2011-11-24) then there must be a compatibility problem with the current Windows 7 OS and only C-Media can fix that. The only other option may be to update your sound card with one that is supported by Windows 7.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you.

Please plug in the exact brand and model number into the hardware tab. Windows 7 Compatibility: Software Programs & Hardware Devices: Find Updates, Drivers, & Downloads It may be too old to be compatible with Windows 7.

    Hey friends
I wanted to inform you that I managed to fix the problem after hours of playing all the options
All he needed to do was make the analog outputs disabled
And become the default digital port and synchronize it with the sound card
So thank you all help me a lot. Kindest regards to you all
