Need help saving audio software while I do revert to original specs

    Hi, everybody. Happy New Year.
I just now finished updating my system specs using the tool from this forum.
I bought this Dell XPS 15 in November and really like it.
I eventually discovered that my sound system had a switching problem.
Along with the Nvidia High Def Dell also put in the Creative software in Entertainment mode.
Trouble was that when I inserted the head phone jack the pc would not shut off the laptop's speakers.
Dell fixed this for me online and it works well.

However, I need to use the Dell disc to restore the laptop to it's original specs. My own fault for not making an image in the beginning.
I'm hoping somebody can walk me through the steps to save the audio drivers and software so that I can re-install them after I finish reverting to the original state. I'll need instructions on how to install them too.
I am not technically inclined. Still a novice but can usually follow good directions.
    Thanks for any help.
    H.

You don't need discs, unless the Dell recovery partition, accessed by F8 at POST (Power On Self Test) has been corrupted. The Dell Recovery partition will restore the PC to the original factory condition and no discs are needed.

If you need to manually reinstall, you can download any Dell drivers needed at www.support.dell.com Enter your service tag number and should list only drivers applicable to your PC as it was delivered. I think this site will allow you to download any applications that were included with the PC when ordered. Welcome to Dell Support
