Audio Scratchy with video and full screen view, such as boston.com

If the video view is full screen, or if i move the mosue, the audio is scratchy . .

Windows 7 x64, 8 gigs ram, Asus p5B - 5 years old board. .
no problem with vista.

check my user name system specs for specifics. .

Systems 1 and 2: Windows 7 Enterprise x64, Win 8 Developer
 
 


Install latest drivers for audio and video.
Drop screen resolution and monitor refresh rate back.
Let us know how that does.

good suggestions, however, i have already done this, as the Windows 7 pro build is brand new install, the video card is brand new, and all the drivers are up to date, and the monitor has one refresh rate.

so, i suspect that the board is getting old and the BIOS and the like are getting too old,
but that is just a suspicion.

so no change in the scratchiness
