Sound problem. Plz help.. images attached..
I've upgraded my computer... now a sound problem arises... I'm using bubbles as my screensaver set to 6 mins, after that in power options turn off monitor at 15 mins.. I've installed Adobe Audition, Winamp etc.. when i tried to play a song in winamp, it shows like the below attached image, opened audition: same problem, opened WMP: same problem... no sound from computer... i've checked speaker levels, while moving the slider, it shows nothing... plz help... is it a motherboard problem ???

Try to re-install your sound card drivers.Go to device manager and check if there are any yellow exclamation marks on sound devices. | | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number DELL

Are you using integrated sound card or is it an external one??If its the latter i suggest checking if sound card is seated properly on the MB.Otherwise maybe your sound card is failing. | | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number DELL

I remember not long ago when i build my desktop for the first time i had ASUS MB and on board sound card failed.If your MB is still under warranty i suggest to take it to ASUS repair center.
