Windows 7 - System sounds quieter than the rest of the audio

My problem is that system sounds, such as error sounds, pressing the back button, and other such activities related to windows, are barley audible. However, sounds like music, game audio, and videos are playing just fine. I have checked my sound mixer and system sounds is cranked to 100%, along with everything else. This has started after installing my Logitech microphone on to the system, how ever I do not see how this can be causing the issue, I have tried unplugging it and the problem is persisting.

EDIT: Nevermind fixed it myself, I changed the option on communications to do nothing to system sounds if it detects that the system is being used for telephone (what?!) calls.
