Unable to open RealTek HD Audio Manager on Windows 7 I finally managed to locate RealTek HD Audio Manager on Windows 7 by searching for the file "RAVCpl64.exe"
However, when I click to open it, nothing happens. I tried to run it in compatibility mode with Windows Vista but nothing happens once again.
Does anyone know how I can get RealTek HD Audio Manager to open as a software application on Windows 7?

Boo hoo - No system specs.
Go to your motherboard or PC manufacturer's web site and download the latest Realtek drivers that apply to your Specific machine. Follow the instructions there for installing the drivers. You cannot execute the software as an application. It's triggered by right clicking the small speaker icon in the lower right of your screen. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Built 2/11/2011 OS Windows 7 Pro-x64 CPU i7-2600 3.4GHz - 3.8GHz Turbo Motherboard Intel DH67BL-B3 Memory 8Gb - 2x4GB, Muskin 991770 PC3-1333 Graphics Card Integrated Intel HD 2000 Sound Card Integrated Intel 10.1 HD, RealTek ALC892 Monitor(s) Displays Asus LCD VH222H, Haier HL24XSL2a Screen Resolution 1920x1080, 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech EX100 Wireless Mouse Logitech EX100 Wireless PSU Seasonic 650W 80+ Gold Modular Case Rosewill Defender Cooling Stock CPU, Four 120mm case fans, PCH fan added Hard Drives Crucial C300-128Gb,

clicking ravcpl64.exe runs it for me. the file has no compatibility settings, i do run it from an admin login. if you running it from a normal user you may need to set it to the 'run as admin' compatibility setting.
i also have a control panel applet for it in my control panel items. if you don't see it, find & click the 'RTSnMg64.cpl' file, it should also run it. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number acer t650 OS win 7 x64 sp1 CPU pentium D/930 Motherboard RC 410-M2 Memory 2 GB Graphics Card ATI on MB, Nvidia geforce GT430 pci express Sound Card realtek on mb Monitor(s) Displays 17in. lcd Screen Resolution 1280x1024 Keyboard logitech wireless kbd/mouse mk300 Mouse logitech wireless kbd/mouse mk300 PSU std. acer Case std. acer Cooling std. acer Hard Drives 500GB seagate maximus xt hybrid Internet Speed 8mb adsl (actuall speed is around 6mb) Other Info bt home hub III Unable to open RealTek HD Audio Manager on Windows 7 problems?
