donrocker, welcome to the Seven Forums.

For the drivers which also contains the Audio Control panel you can find a working driver and most of the apps here,

SB Audigy Series Support Pack 3.8 (04/19/2010) - Creative Labs

As far as the EAX Console and Surround Mixer go, you don't need them any more (and haven't since Creative came out with the Audio Control panel). The EAX tab in the control panel has (or should have) the necessary settings, and for the Surround Mixer Windows 7 own audio settings have the same thing,

Can the front panel connectors be used on a Creative card, yes they can but it is dependent on the card having the connector as shown in the first picture here,

Connecting the SoundBlaster Audigy2 ZS to the Front Panel

and then either following the instructions on making your own cable, or you can buy one ready-made,

    The X-Tap -- Sound Blaster Audigy/X-Fi Harness

You can also find the cable in older (and probably newer as well) Dell cases that came with a Creative card in them, as that is one of the reasons for that connector now being on Creative cards.

    Hey all,

Been trying to install my Audigy 2 for a while now. The model is CA0102-ICT. I've already gone through SB Creative Web Setup telling me that it doesn't detect my soundcard, and I've tried installing the drivers manually using Creatives newest drivers and the ones linked in the first post (not Daniel_K's). Right now I see that "Creative Audigy Audio Processor (WDM)" is installed under Sound, video and game controllers, but it has a yellow exclamation next to it and the device status says "This device cannot start". If I uninstall that and let it auto-install drivers, it turns into "High Definition Audio Device". When it's like this, I can connect my headset by USB and it works fine, but obviously it's not 5.1 sound. With the 3 jacks in place, there is no sound. I'm pretty lost at this point. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

lobstrain welcome to the Seven Forums.

Depending on the age of the system (if it is of similar age as the Audigy) it could be due to a lack of proper motherboard/chipset drivers, more so if the default Windows drivers only provide basic functionality (just enough to get Windows installed, and things to work at a bare minimum).

    Filling in your system specs,

    would help a lot.
