Welcome to SF. Try making and unmaking the connection with the headphone jack. Also blast some air into the female socket. I also like to use a little contact cleaner on the jack, just a little and make and unmake connections a bunch and see if that free's up the spring contacts inside.
thnx for ur immediate reply . I tried but still not working ! headphone and it's mic working fine in my laptop but only headphone's mic is not working in my desktop !

but still not detecting any sound from it !

Try the rear mic connection and report back. If this is the rear connection then try the front.
You need to install the drivers for the onboard audio. At the moment it is using the default Windows audio driver.

unable to install onboard sound driver ! how to know which driver is compatible with my motherboard ? it hows message like this-
Make and model of the motherboard would help. Then we can point you in the right direction for which driver you need.

No idea if it is even for Windows 7 or Vista, but if it is only for XP it should still work, You may have to use compatibility mode,
Compatibility Mode
to get it to install if it is XP only.
