    Sound Driver Problem


    Well I had Windows XP ages ago and I did a a upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate with a clean install of it and when I got it my Realtek driver was losted and my soundcard is gone so I download the driver again but still my sound didn't work , I went to a computer shop and I got fixed and it worked but , I did the Clean Install again because my computer had problems and I backed up the folder of my Sound Driver and when I finished the clean install , I just downloaded my driver and my backed up folder and vawalla I got my sound once more but I had to do another clean install and I forgot to back up my driver folder and now my sound is gone and I cannot be ask to pay for it again.

    Mubarik, welcome to the Seven Forums.

    You shouldn't have to pay for anything as the Realtek drivers are available for free from here,

    Realtek

    The only thing you need to know is whether you need the AC'97 or HD Audio driver, but we can't tell you that as you didn't provide the make and model of either your computer or the motherboard.

I hope someone here can help with this. It's regarding the highlighted entry in the attached screenshot. 79554 The driver shows an error but I can't seem to fix this. None of the right-click options do anything. I can't install a new driver, I can't update it, I can't uninstall it... WTH? ...
Well i have a 5.1 PCI surround cart SL-8866-SRD and we i install the driver it says "Can't find your device. Please plug in your device and press Retry to continue" what should i do? PS:I have connected the sound card, that's why i am confused.
Hi every body . how are you I've got a problem with my sound card . Win7 can't see it and i was searching for the Setup + the Upgrade for it and i found nothing Name : Intel DP965LT now i'm using USB Speakers and that doesn't work with the games ( online ) it needs the real sound card...
