I got a new XPS 8300 PC and I'm still uninstalling all the bloatware now theres a sticker on the pc that says Trustudio pc which I dont know what that means.

Would it be fine to uninstall the THX trustudio program?

That is a Creative/SoundBlaster enhancement to the Integrated (on the motherboard) audio system. It sort of gives you some of the same things that a SoundBlaster sound card features.

If you want all your fancy surround sound or other stuff it may rely on that software but if you are a standard computer user and only need standard stereo sound and/or if you only have stereo speakers than it would be fine to uninstall the software.

The Integrated audio on the 8300 will support 7.1 sound, without the THX Tru Studio enhancement.

Don't. Open the THX menu and disable everything except surround if you have stereo speakers, then set your speakers to external. It's quite good at virtual surround.
