    Inbuilt mic not working at all


    Hi,I have a MSI U130dx Net book with Intel Atom motherboard,Realtek HD audio and Windows 7 Starter Edition. The inbuilt mic wont work. It comes out with just static when it is not muted. It dosent recognize voices.Please help

    First suggestion, reinstall the netbook vendor's RealTek drivers. If that doesn't help, it would appear to be a hardware problem with the mic.

My laptop is Acer 4736z,intel pentium processor T4200,3gb memory,320gb HDD,Windows 7....Inbuilt mic is not working.checked in control panel->hardware and sound->sound,microphone signal is moving...also when i record a voice,i can see its moving while opening the file,but cant hear..how can I fix...

my laptop came with vista installed which i later upgraded to 7.since then its inbuilt mic(which worked just fine earlier) adjacent to the camera hasnt been working. i have the Ricoh camera driver installed but it does not include any driver for mic. i searched the specifications of my model...
Hi, just got Windows 7 working, I was running XP, and my inbuilt connector was working on it. It no longer works that I can see. Does anyone know how to get it working please?
