Radeon 6770 HDMI Output Disappears When Switching Receiver Inputs

Hello Folks,

I have a Win 7 x64 Prof build with a Radeon 6770 card attached to a Pioneer receiver via HDMI. I also have a stereo analog output running from my ASUS mobo to a different zone on the receiver. I select the HDMI output as my default audio device and it works fine in my living room when I am running XBMC. However, when I leave the computer running and switch my receiver input to TV and then back to XBMC, the HDMI audio device disappears and I am left only with my analog audio from the mobo. I cannot restore the HDMI device without rebooting Windows. At this point, I have tried Windows default, AMD, and Realtek (ATI HDMI) drivers all to the same result.

Also of note: on a previous installations of Windows the HDMI device would remain displayed, however it would automatically mute itself when I switched inputs or booted the PC with the receiver off.

I would appreciate any help on this.

Thanks!
