Bluetooth headset audio goes silent but resumes delayed audio
I have a Jabra Halo2 stereo headset, when I pair it with my PC Windows 7 Ultimate x64, sometimes it goes silent and resumes from where it went silent, so the audio is delayed, out of sync with the video, this happens with any application, WMP, itunes, etc. but this doesn't happen with Halo2 paired with iPhone, even if it breaks and go silent, it comes back with real time audio. I have already contacted the Jabra CS and they say there are no buffer in the headset so it is probably Windows that feeds outdated audio.
I have already tried removing the device from control panel on the PC and clearing the pairing list from the Jabra and reconnecting. I googled A2DP and I have no idea how to check if I am using this connection.
I use a cheap bluetooth dongle sold by EagleTec, with a CSR ltd chip inside I think.
My PC auto installs drivers when Jabra pairs, with Bluetooth Services: Audio Sink, Handsfree Telephony and Remote Control ticked, but not Headset.
Honestly I have no idea if I set my headset up in the correct way, so please feel free to ask anything. I just want to fix the audio delay problem and also make sure I am using the best way to connect it instead of using the default outdated technology if I'm not installing some drivers.
Thanks in advance!
