    WMP won't play .MP3

I installed a Line 6 soundcard, now whether I have it selected or not (Realtek) it refuses .mp3 files; sometimes there's just no sound, some files give an error something like 'something went wrong playing this file'.

Installed Windows 7 codeck pack and K-Lite, surprisingly without any effect.

pretty sure the installation, and now unistallation went ok.

still (after uninstalling line 6 drivers and all, k-lite, codec pack) WMP refuses my .MP3. Typical Windows to "get help on the web" which leads to no answers. Wtf is ID3? Like ofcourse I know that. And my .MP3's are indexed so.

I think it is probably that your app is not comaptible with MP3 file.
