Welcome to the forum,
If you right click on an empty area in the sound box you should get the option to show disabled devices.
Alright, its enabled and its still not working, Its enabled and everything. It even says its working it only makes sound when I turn it off and on.
What is going on with my mic?
Try the uninstall/reinstall trick. It fixes a lot of problems and MAY take care of yours. Go to the Device Manager, RIGHT click on the entry for your sound device to highlight it, then LEFT click "Uninstall" DO NOT check the box to uninstall the drivers. Restart the PC and when Windows starts it will detect and reinstall the sound.
To access the Device Manager, hold the Windows key down and press the Pause/Break key. When the panel comes up, the Device Manager will be in the upper left Task List.
I still cant use the mic. Any other way tp fix my mic?
Reinstall the PC vendor (or motherboard if its a home built system) sound driver and see if that helps.
I did the same thing bumping my head against the wall
