Hey all. I perused the forums real quickly and couldn't find a solution to this so I figured it was worth a question
I hooked up my GIGABYTE Radeon port to a dual display set up via HDMI to my HD TV and a DVI monitor, and I am not getting any audio to my TV. I know the HDMI and the TV can support the audio this way because my previous computer used all the same equipment and I got audio and video. Anybody have any suggestions?
So I solved the above problem, but now I am wondering about getting 5.1 sound to work when hooked up to my TV (as the HDMI signal passes thru my receiver which is a 5.1 speaker set up). I tried right clicking the speaker icon in the system tray, selecting playback devices, then configuring the TV speakers, where it DID give me the option for 5.1 (as well as other options) but when tested, it only did 2.1, as all the other speakers (center, left-back, right-back) went thru the front Stereo speakers. Any help herein? Thank you!

I have speakers hooked up to my computer via the motherboard's green audio out port.
