Analog Speaker not detected. USB speaker works

    Hi,

I remember deleting something named "Realtek HD blah blah" from the below screen.

From then my normal speaker (audio jack) at the back doesn't work. But my USB speaker works.

I tried to reinstall the audio driver from my motherboard CD and nothing happens.

Please help. This is very annoying.

If you deleted RealTek, that is a PC sound (Integrated on the motherboard) and most likely why your speakers are not working. You must have a PC sound device, other than a USB connected device, for the speakers to work.

First step is to reinstall the RealTek drivers. Its best to get the driver either from your PC vendor or Motherboard vendor, as applicable and install that as the first step. Then make sure your "speakers" (sound card) is set as the default playback device in the Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Sound panel.
