speakers and usb jacks and headphone and mic jack not working

hello guys i know i am new here and this is my first post but i just really need help with this problem. so i took off the back of my sony vaio e series because the fan was overheating alot so i wanted to clean it out, so i did. when i put the laptop back together the sound was gone as well as the headphone and mic and usbs jacks. i can connect a usb on the other side through the esata jack and i can hook up and hdmi cable and it plays sound on the tv. i tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it and im trying to figure out what the problem is. but the thing is when i install the drivers i still dont have anything for the mic come up or the speakers just digital audio(hdmi) drive. i need ur help cuz im in college and i need this computer to work i only had it for 2 years and this is the first problem ive had. thanks in advance

Hi, I'm confident that this is the solution to your Vaio problem of Speaker, Mic, Headphones, or USB ports not working.
The PCG series Vaio has a small PCB fitted with USB, mic, and line output sockets. This is connected by a ribbon foil to the MoBo. The ribbon foil maybe faulty [unfortunate] or it needs to be carefully removed and reseated to the connector sockets at either end. Be careful when lifting the MoBo [2" maximum] as the touchpad foil is short and may become disconnected

    Its a fiddly job!!

    Regards
